Stephen L. Brooks

Managing Partner

Mr. Brooks joined JFLCO in 1998 and is a member of JFLCO’s Management Committee and Private Equity Investment Committee. He shares overall responsibility for the firm’s management, capital formation and investment activities.  He has primary responsibility for the acquisition, oversight and disposition of private equity portfolio investments and the firm’s sourcing and business development activities. He has served on many of the boards for JFLCO’s investments and currently serves as Chairman of CTS Engines, Mission Microwave and Trillium Engineering and as a director of CodeMettle and TMS Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brooks was a member of the Aerospace and Defense Group at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company, where he focused on aerospace and defense M&A.

Mr. Brooks graduated summa cum laude from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, where he earned a B.B.A. in finance with a minor in English.  He maintains an active involvement with the Bowery Mission where he is a frequent volunteer and marathon organizer.
