Alex DeFelice

Managing Director, Credit

Mr. DeFelice joined JFLCO in 2026 and is actively involved in the acquisition, oversight and disposition of credit investments. He has experience investing both domestically and internationally across the credit spectrum, ranging from performing to distressed.

Mr. DeFelice was most recently a Managing Director at Livello Capital Management. Previously, he led distressed and special situations investments on a credit team at Paloma Partners, served as a Senior Analyst at Fir Tree Partners (where he worked together with Mr. Lederman), and was Head of Research at MatlinPatterson Global Advisers.

Earlier in his career, Mr. DeFelice was a Director and Portfolio Manager on the Special Situations Portfolio team within BlackRock's Leveraged Finance Group and was a Vice President on the Lehman Brothers' Global Principal Strategies team. He began his career in financial restructuring investment banking at UBS Warburg and Chanin Capital Partners.

Mr. DeFelice earned a B.S. in economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Yale University School of Management.
