NEW YORK – On the night of September 20th, J.F. Lehman & Company and many of the firm's friends and colleagues gathered at Bowlmor Lanes in New York City for the third annual ”Bowling for the Brave” charity bowling tournament benefitting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (”SOWF”). SOWF provides college scholarship grants, financial aid and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident. Through the generosity of both corporate sponsors and individuals alike, ”Bowling for the Brave” was a successful fundraising event resulting in over $27,000 in donations to the SOWF.
J.F. Lehman was supported in the fundraising effort through generous donations by numerous co-sponsors. Support at the Platinum sponsorship level was provided by BNP Paribas, Booz & Co., Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, Defense Venture Group, Drew Marine, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Stanwich Advisors, US Joiner and Wells Fargo. Gold level sponsors included Blank Rome LLP, Jones Day, Grant Thornton, Houlihan Lokey, PMC Treasury, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and a number of generous individuals.
