Larry J. Phillips

Managing Director, Portfolio Operations

Mr. Phillips joined JFLCO in 2018 and is responsible for partnering with executive teams across the JFLCO portfolio to drive growth and value creation in addition to assisting with operational and strategic due diligence for acquisitions. He currently serves as a director of CodeMettle, Entact, Global Marine Group, TMS Group and Trillium Engineering.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Phillips was a Resource Partner with Court Square Capital Partners and a Senior Operating Executive with COAC, the proprietary operations team at Cerberus Capital. In these positions, he focused on driving operational and financial transformation at a variety of portfolio companies, including serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at DynCorp International and Senior Vice President of Corporate Transformation at Formica Corporation. Previously, Mr. Phillips served as Vice President of Marketing, Finance and Corporate Operations at BigMachines, Inc. He began his career in manufacturing and financial management at General Electric.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Phillips earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
