Adam J. Halpern

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Halpern joined JFLCO in 2026 as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of the firm’s enterprise-wide operational infrastructure. He partners closely with leadership across Finance & Accounting, Technology, Human Capital and Legal & Compliance, and plays a key role in advancing the firm’s strategic priorities and ensuring the organization is well-positioned for long-term success.

Prior to joining JFLCO, Mr. Halpern was Chief Operating Officer of Marblegate Asset Management, a special situations and distressed credit investment manager. He previously served as Director of Business Management for the Private Investment business at The Baupost Group. Earlier in his career, he was Global Head of Business Planning and Technology for the Investment Banking Division at Barclays and held a similar role at Lehman Brothers. He began his career as a consultant at Accenture.

Mr. Halpern earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.B.A. in finance from New York University and a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
