NEW YORK – J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on the defense, aerospace and maritime sectors, is pleased to announce the promotions of Robert H. Lee to Principal, Glenn M. Shor to Principal and Michael S. Friedman to Vice President.

Rob Lee joined the firm in 2008 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2009. Prior to his tenure at J.F. Lehman, Mr. Lee was a Vice President in the Aerospace • Defense • Government group at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin and began his finance career in positions at Deutsche Bank Securities and SG Cowen & Co. Mr. Lee earned an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy; after graduating from West Point, Mr. Lee was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and served in a number of positions within Air Force Space Command and the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center. Mr. Lee serves on the board of US Joiner-IMECO, a J.F. Lehman portfolio company.
Glenn Shor joined the firm in 2010 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2011. Previously, Mr. Shor was a private equity investment professional with both D.E. Shaw & Co. and Providence Equity Partners. Mr. Shor began his finance career as an analyst in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking division in New York. Mr. Shor graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, with majors in Finance and International Business and a minor in Fine Arts. Mr. Shor serves on the board of National Response Corporation, a J.F. Lehman portfolio company.
Mike Friedman joined the firm in 2007 as a Senior Analyst and was promoted to Associate in 2009 and Senior Associate in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Friedman was an Investment Banking analyst in the Aerospace & Defense Group at Jefferies & Company, Inc. Mr. Friedman graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
