NEW YORK – J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on the defense, aerospace and Maritime sectors, recently announced the addition of three new professionals to its New York office. Lisa M. Steffens joins as Director, Investor Relations, and H. Lee French and Bryan Rubin join as Senior Analysts. Ms. Steffens will focus on managing communications and relations with investors, while Messrs. French and Rubin will focus on supporting all aspects of acquisition transactions.
Ms. Steffens has previous experience in both investment banking and industry. She was a risk consultant and Project Manager for the Shaw Group before joining J.F. Lehman. She also spent nine years in investment banking where she served as a Director at Deutsche Bank and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Prior to banking, she was an Intelligence Analyst for the C.I.A. Ms. Steffens graduated from M.I.T. with B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and French and earned an M.B.A. from Yale University.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. French was a member of the Leveraged Finance Group at Wachovia Securities where he participated in the origination, structuring and execution of acquisition financing and related corporate credit products, including bank loans, bridge loans and high yield securities across a variety of industry sectors. Mr. French graduated from Washington & Lee University where he received his B.A. in economics.
Mr. Rubin was a member of the Consumer Investment Banking Group at RBC Capital Markets prior to joining J.F. Lehman. There he participated in the origination, structuring and execution of mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financings. Mr. Rubin graduated from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University where he received his B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance.
