NEW YORK – J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on the defense, aerospace and maritime sectors, recently announced the promotion of Michael S. Friedman to Associate and the hiring of David A. Lohmann as a Senior Analyst. Messrs. Friedman and Lohmann will support a wide variety of the firm’s investment activities, from identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities to monitoring the performance of portfolio companies.
Mr. Friedman initially joined J.F. Lehman & Company in 2007 as a Senior Analyst. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Friedman was an Investment Banking analyst in the Aerospace & Defense Group at Jeffries & Company, Inc. where he supported a wide range of transactions. Mr. Friedman graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Lohmann joined J.F. Lehman & Company in August 2009 from Morgan Stanley, where he served two years as an Investment Banking analyst. Mr. Lohmann graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
