NEW YORK – On the night of August 10th, J.F. Lehman & Company and many of the firms’ friends and colleagues gathered at Bowlmor Lanes in New York City for the first annual ”Bowling for the Brave” charity bowling tournament benefitting the Special Operations Warrior Fund (”SOWF”). SOWF provides college scholarship grants, financial aid, and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident. Through the generosity of both corporate sponsors and individuals alike, ”Bowling for the Brave” was a successful fundraising event resulting in over $13,000 in donations to the SOWF.
J.F. Lehman was supported in the fundraising effort through generous donations by numerous co-sponsors. Support at the Platinum sponsorship level was provided by Atlantic Inertial Systems, Atlantic Marine Shipyards, Defense Venture Group, OAO Technology Solutions, Inc., and Westchester Wealth Management Group. Gold level sponsors included Bank of Ireland, Blank Rome LLP, Booz & Co., Jones Day, and Parish Capital.
